The Trump administration is poised to finalize a \u201cmassive\u201d deal for American ownership stakes in over a dozen oil fields in Venezuela \u2014 a move that would more than double U.S. proven oil reserves overnight and eliminate China\u2019s energy foothold in the Western Hemisphere.<\/p>\n

According to Axios, confirmed by ZeroHedge, the fields contain roughly a third of Venezuela\u2019s proven reserves: 90 billion barrels. Venezuelan insiders \u2014 including some who have since been indicted \u2014 and interests linked to China previously controlled the fields. Now, with American companies set to spearhead development, the interim government in Caracas is reportedly pushing for a complete exit from OPEC as part of the broader agreement.<\/p>\n

\u201cCalling this deal huge would be an understatement. It is massive,\u201d remarked a senior U.S. official.<\/p>\n

The strategic logic is clear. The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve has fallen to a 40-year low following Biden\u2019s mismanagement. Global crude supply remains strained. The Strait of Hormuz crisis has made Middle Eastern dependence a permanent liability. Venezuela, sitting atop the world\u2019s largest proven reserves, offers an alternative that no globalist energy summit could manufacture.<\/p>\n

Chinese-linked interests had been quietly expanding their foothold in South America for years, controlling major oil fields in the Orinoco Belt \u2014 a 600-kilometer petroleum corridor stretching across eastern Venezuela. Those interests are now being transferred to American hands.<\/p>\n

Legitimate questions about transparency in managing existing Venezuelan oil revenues deserve answers. But the strategic direction is correct. The globalists spent decades offshoring American energy security. Trump is putting it back \u2014 one deal at a time.<\/p>\n
