A Tuesday night police raid on the Minneapolis home of far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar\u2019s son and roommate turned up guns and ammunition.<\/p>\n

The raid targeted the roommate, 22-year-old Abdulrahman Abdi, who had previously been booked into the Hennepin County Jail on a weapons charge, as originally reported by Liz Collin of Alpha News.<\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udea8\"NEW: Multiple law enforcement sources say a search warrant was conducted Tuesday night on the apartment where Congresswoman Ilhan Omar\u2019s son lives in Minneapolis. Guns and ammunition were recovered from the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers initially stopped Abdi earlier Tuesday in the 200 block of 11th Street South and cited him for driving after his license was canceled and for failing to provide proof of insurance,\u201d according to The Daily Wire<\/a>. \u201cHe was released at the scene, but officers discovered a firearm while impounding his vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPolice later located Abdi on Marquette Avenue and arrested him \u2018without incident.\u2019 He was booked into Hennepin County Jail on a weapons charge and later released,\u201d the reporting continued.<\/p>\n

After obtaining a search warrant, the police then targeted Abdi\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

Court records show Abdi\u2019s criminal history runs deep and includes convictions for\u00a0speeding, driving with a revoked license, using a cellphone while driving, and failing to provide proof of insurance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2024, he pleaded guilty to fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle after prosecutors said he was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee at 108 mph while racing alongside another vehicle,\u201d The Daily Wire notes.<\/p>\n

Critics weren\u2019t surprised that Omar\u2019s son would be residing with such a street hoodlum:<\/p>\n

Omar\u2019s son isn\u2019t the first in the family to get caught up in headline-generating drama. The congresswoman\u2019s daughter made headlines in 2024 when she was arrested and suspended from Barnard College for participating in a pro-Hamas \u201cencampment\u201d at Columbia University.<\/p>\n

Omar, for her part, publicly praised her daughter after the arrest, saying in a statement that she was \u201cenormously proud\u201d of her hijinks.<\/p>\n

The spoiled daughter, Isra Hirsi, traveled to Cuba earlier this year as part of a global delegation of communist degenerates organized by Code Pink. The delegation included leftist hate monger Hasan Piker.<\/p>\n

She and her fellow comrades stood up \u201cagainst the oppressive blockade\u201d by having a private, secluded party in a lavish hotel surrounded by poor, starving Cubans who reportedly had no electricity.<\/p>\n

Cuban hospital patients reportedly die after power outages as Code Pink and liberal activists held a party and concert.<\/p>\n

Liberal activists have also been accused of hypocrisy for staying in a 5 star hotel with electricity as Havana faces a blackout.<\/p>\n
