The Washington Post, known by critics as the Washington Puke, is getting reamed for publishing a fake take about the late Dolly Parton.<\/p>\n

Parton, who died Tuesday, suffered from endometriosis, a condition that can greatly hamper a woman\u2019s fertility.<\/p>\n

\u201cMore than four decades ago, Parton announced she had been diagnosed with endometriosis, a debilitating reproductive condition that causes tissues similar to those found in a woman\u2019s uterus to grow elsewhere in the body,\u201d according to the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis excess tissue causes excruciatingly painful periods, excess bleeding and, for up to half of those with the condition, infertility,\u201d the Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n

The Endometriosis Foundation of America joins millions around the world in mourning the loss of @DollyParton<\/a>, a true American original whose trailblazing spirit changed music, business, philanthropy, and the possibilities for generations of women.<\/p>\n

The tweet linked to a column from Post writer Ashley Fetters Maloy that was just as ridiculous.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo me, Parton\u2019s lack of children demonstrated that the world could in fact love a woman who wasn\u2019t a mother,\u201d Maloy wrote. \u201cBut more importantly, she was proof that a person could be an advocate and friend for children while personally choosing against parenting.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the reality is that Parton had wanted children.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarly on, when my husband and I were dating, and then when we got married, we just assumed we would have kids,\u201d she told Billboard<\/a> magazine in 2014. \u201cWe weren\u2019t doing anything to stop it. In fact, we thought maybe we would. We even had names if we did, but it didn\u2019t turn out that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow I say, \u2018God didn\u2019t mean for me to have kids so everybody\u2019s kids could be mine.\u2019 I\u2019m very close to my family \u2014 five of my younger brothers and sisters lived with me and Carl for many years \u2014 and we\u2019re very close to our nieces and nephews. Now that Carl and I are older, we often say, \u2018Aren\u2019t you glad we didn\u2019t have kids? Now we don\u2019t have kids to worry about,’\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
