Departing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt effusively praised her soon-to-be former boss, explaining to the crowd at a Friday rally how hard President Donald J. Trump works on behalf of the American people.<\/p>\n

During the campaign event for Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in South Carolina, the president brought out his top spox, who shocked the political world when she unexpectedly announced that she was stepping down from the podium at the end of the month just after she had returned from maternity leave.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to say, President Trump, you are the most consequential and historic president in the history of our great country,\u201d she said as Trump stood to the side, beaming and basking in the warmth of her praise.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been the honor of my life to serve as White House press secretary, sir,\u201d Leavitt added. \u201cIt really was.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udea8\" KAROLINE JUST SAID WHAT EVERYONE AROUND HIM ALREADY KNOWS<\/p>\n

At the South Carolina rally, Karoline Leavitt stepped up and told the truth about President Trump:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can call this man at 6 in the morning. You can call him at 3 in the morning. He picks up the phone\u2026 because\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want everyone in this room to know how hard this man works for all of you, and for every American across the country, regardless of whether they\u2019re a Republican or a Democrat,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can call this man at 6 in the morning, you call him at 3 in the morning, he picks up the phone because he\u2019s looking out for you,\u201d she said to the crowd, which ate it up. \u201cAnd he needs your help with a Republican Congress for the next two years so he can make our country greater and stronger than ever before, so get out and vote.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite losing an integral member of his messaging team, Trump kept it lighthearted.<\/p>\n

Leavitt\u2019s departure leaves a gaping hole to fill, but according to the president, there is no shortage of applicants.<\/p>\n
