After her own Senate campaign flopped as arguably antithetical to that end, a seemingly jilted Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D) spoke to her intention to drive enthusiasm for black candidates of her choosing while calling out her own party.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on \u201cFront Page\u201d with Mimi Brown, the ousted lawmaker was presented with a clip of her former opponent, Senate nominee and Texas state Rep. James Talarico (D), on \u201cThe Breakfast Club\u201d where he reiterated it isn\u2019t his view that Crockett isn\u2019t electable in a statewide election.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the congresswoman presented and then batted down a suggestion that she has an \u201cunderground railroad\u201d telling black voters what to do, and stated, \u201cI, frankly, stopped doing as many TV interviews because I, I don\u2019t wanna talk about the race, to be perfectly honest. And the reasons that I don\u2019t is because right now people just need to focus on whatever it\u2019s gonna take to win. But there is a reckoning that this party needs to have. Right now, like that\u2019s \u2014 I don\u2019t feel like they\u2019re excited, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I do have some amazing black candidates that are running for office in some of the largest counties.
