A little bounce, and the crowd rushes in:<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin biggest ETF inflows since May&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/HQNcprpXoAAABuL.jpg?itok=Z-tK4You\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/HQNcprpXoAAABuL.jpg?itok=Z-tK4You\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"f1e799cd-7e4d-4122-bc05-1dc77cd55ce6\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"266\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/HQNcprpXoAAABuL.jpg?itok=Z-tK4You\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ether biggest ETF inflows since January&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/get_attachment_url%20%2816%29_9.jpg?itok=-MfV2r-l\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/get_attachment_url%20%2816%29_9.jpg?itok=-MfV2r-l\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"f68ab250-2420-4f28-84dd-3b40f7866ec2\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"266\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/get_attachment_url%20%2816%29_9.jpg?itok=-MfV2r-l\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, if we zoom out on ETFs, Kendrick says\u00a0<strong>this pick up is small\/just getting started<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At roughly USD1.5bn in inflows so far this week, this is good.<\/p>\n<p>History shows that at some stage we will get a daily inflow of more than USD1bn (perhaps today).<\/p>\n<p>The next point to note is that because crypto has lagged AI all year, <strong>open interest is very low<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/0%20-%202026-08-21T093555.486.jpg?itok=xri9WPuT\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/0%20-%202026-08-21T093555.486.jpg?itok=xri9WPuT\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"d27cc7ef-ae0c-403a-91d0-a5cd143ab1a0\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"238\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/0%20-%202026-08-21T093555.486.jpg?itok=xri9WPuT\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As prices rise, interest in the asset class will rise too.<\/p>\n<p>All of which leads to Kendrick&#8217;s big line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In a Feb. 12 report, Kendrick cut Standard Chartered\u2019s year-end Bitcoin target to $100,000<\/strong> from $150,000 and its Ether target to $4,000 from $7,500. At the time, he expected Bitcoin to fall to around $50,000 and Ether to $1,400 before recovering during the rest of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Today, he write:\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cFor the first time this year there is now a risk my end year forecast (of USD100k) is too low.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>He is not alone.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/standard-chartered-100k-bitcoin-2026-prediction-low\">As CoinTelegraph reports<\/a>, other industry watchers have also pointed to signs that the bear market may be nearing an end.<\/p>\n<p><em>Swan Bitcoin CEO Cory Klippsten\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fMuRKcj_GF4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said Bitcoin may bottom in October<\/a>, while 10x Research founder Markus Thielen said an August\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/markets\/bitcoin-find-bear-market-bottom-august-10x-research\">close above $63,000 could confirm a bear-market bottom<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/bitcoin-all-time-high-1280x853.jpg?itok=rBZAx892\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/bitcoin-all-time-high-1280x853.jpg?itok=rBZAx892\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"02802793-d81c-4daf-aeda-f290171f2788\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"333\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/bitcoin-all-time-high-1280x853.jpg?itok=rBZAx892\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>New BTC buy wall sits below $68,000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/markets\/strategy-bitcoin-treasury-hits-breakeven-point-as-btc-price-passes-77k\">CoinTelegraph goes on to note <\/a>that amid\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/markets\/bitcoin-price-reaches-725k-as-us-issues-economic-d-day-threat-to-iran\"><u>misgivings over the durability<\/u><\/a>\u00a0of Bitcoin\u2019s volatile upside move, analysis from onchain analytics platform\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/n3ocortex\/status\/2090539332973015511\"><u>Glassnode<\/u><\/a>\u00a0revealed a new safety net forming below $70,000.<\/p>\n<p>Some 3.44 million BTC now have an onchain cost basis, also known as realized price, between $58,000 and $67,000. Source: Rafael Schultze-Kraft on\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/x.com\/\"><u><em>X.com<\/em><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p>BTC\/USD broke through several key resistance levels this week, including its 200-day simple moving average (SMA) at $68,967, a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/markets\/bitcoin-breaks-200-day-moving-average\"><u>key target to reclaim<\/u><\/a>\u00a0to end the long-term BTC price downtrend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Furthermore, Bitcoin&#8217;s 20% surge in the last three days saw it reclaim a key level for Strategy, the world\u2019s largest corporate Bitcoin treasury company.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Data from monitoring resource\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcointreasuries.net\/public-companies\/strategy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BitcoinTreasuries<\/a>\u00a0puts the cost basis for Strategy\u2019s holdings of 840,447 BTC at $75,385, currently with a year-to-date gain of approximately\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.strategy.com\/btc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$450 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/pasted-image-2393-1280x610.jpg?itok=yDInuGAt\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/pasted-image-2393-1280x610.jpg?itok=yDInuGAt\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"079eafb3-cbd9-491f-9521-8ed75f18eb1b\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"238\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/pasted-image-2393-1280x610.jpg?itok=yDInuGAt\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As Cointelegraph reported, between Aug. 3 and Aug. 9,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/markets\/strategy-sells-1690-btc-buy-back-108-6-million-strc\"><u>Strategy opted to sell\u00a0<\/u><\/a>a small portion of its treasury worth 1,690 BTC to repurchase 1.15 million shares of its STRC preferred stock for $108.6 million.
