Former first lady Jill Biden fed conspiracy mongers during an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast, leaving open the possibility that someone may have \u201claced\u201d former President Joe Biden\u2019s drink before his disastrous debate with then-candidate Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Then again, this is coming from the woman White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said should have to answer for her role in the \u201ccover-up\u201d of her husband\u2019s mental decline.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe moment in the debate with President Biden and now-President Trump, you talk about wondering in that moment live, is he having a stroke or was he drugged?\u201d host Jamie Kern Lima asked. \u201cWere there any steps taken after to rule out either or both?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, yeah,\u201d Mrs. Biden answered. \u201cI mean, Joe and I both had a team of doctors around both of us at all times, and he had a team, I had a team. And as all first ladies and presidents have. And yeah, they checked him out. I mean, once we got off the stage, I went to the green room to get my pocketbook and all that stuff. And he went to his staff and the docs and they said, \u2018Jill, he\u2019s fine. He\u2019s okay.\u2019 I mean, I was like, you know, I mean, I had so much anxiety about it. Like, \u2018What\u2019s wrong? What\u2019s going on?\u2019 But we went on to do three events that night, and he was fine!\u201d<\/p>\n\n

She went on to insist Joe Biden\u2019s actions during the debate were \u201cso inexplicable,\u201d pointing out that he was fine afterwards when they greeted people at the Waffle House, before traveling to North Carolina.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe got off that plane at three o\u2019clock in the morning. And there\u2019s a band playing, the lights, and hundreds of supporters, and greeted them. And they were, you know, so excited,\u201d Jill Biden added. \u201cAnd he went around and shook everybody\u2019s hand. And the next week or two weeks later, he was doing a conference with NATO. It was like such an aberration.\u201d<\/p>\n

After a back-and-forth on whether the former president had a stroke while on state \u2014 he didn\u2019t \u2014 the host asked Jill Biden what \u201cher gut\u201d tells her about the debate performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t figure it out. That is my honest-to-God true answer. I don\u2019t know,\u201d the former first lady said.<\/p>\n

After agreeing that the conspiracy theories online will \u201cgo on forever,\u201d Mrs. Biden fed those theories while providing cover for herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s all kinds of theories. You know, he had been traveling. I know he was tired. He didn\u2019t feel well that day when I saw him. But there was nothing definitive that I could point to,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd I had been on the road for two weeks up until that moment. So, I wasn\u2019t with him. I didn\u2019t see him days before, weeks before. I saw him maybe one hour before.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Lima asked about the possibility that \u201canyone could have, God forbid, laced his drink,\u201d Jill Biden replied, \u201cWho knows? Who knows?\u201d<\/p>\n
