The active-duty U.S. Air Force Major who was arrested last month at the U.S. Capitol while calling for President Trump\u2019s impeachment was detained again.<\/p>\n

Major Jason Watson\u2019s attorney, Chris Mutimer, said his client was arrested while on duty and taken to a county jail on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Preceding his second arrest, Watson had reportedly told his chain of command that he would \u201cno longer be wearing his uniform,\u201d Mutimer told CNN\u2019s Erin Burnett on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Watson had also publicly criticized the Trump administration on Burnett\u2019s show days before he was arrested for the second time.<\/p>\n

A U.S. Air Force spokesperson confirmed that Watson had been detained for \u201cpretrial confinement,\u201d according to The Hill. Watson\u2019s case is still \u201cunder investigation,\u201d and the Airman has not yet been formally charged, according to the Air Force spokesperson.<\/p>\n

While the left cried over a wrongly perceived \u201cFree Speech\u201d foul over the Trump administration\u2019s actions against Watson, others cited Watson\u2019s unlawful conduct while being an active-duty military member and argued it should not be tolerated:<\/p>\n

A military member cannot call for his commander and chief\u2019s impeachment while in uniform.
\nThis is not complicated or controversial.
\nIt\u2019s insubordination at a minimum.
\nHe should be convicted, jailed, and dishonorably discharged<\/p>\n

You absolutely cannot do this in uniform. Those that do deserve the punishment that comes. The added details of refusing to wear the uniform when ordered make it worse.
