A businessman who lost millions of dollars backing President Donald Trump is now running for former Rep. Elise Stefanik\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n

But just because Sticker Mule founder and CEO Anthony Constantino, now a New York congressional candidate, lost money on account of his pro-Trump views doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s changed them an iota.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been scared to tell people that I was a Trump supporter, but [now] I want people to know I am a Trump supporter,\u201d he boldly told the New York Post<\/a>. \u201cAnd nobody should be scared to say that.\u201d<\/p>\n

His company,\u00a0Sticker Mule, lost $50 million in revenue after he publicly endorsed Trump in the 2024 presidential election following the attempted assassination of the then-GOP presidential nominee:<\/p>\n

\n

Donald Trump was shot.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far.<\/p>\n

People are terrified to admit they support Trump. I\u2019ve been scared myself.<\/p>\n

Americans shouldn\u2019t live in fear.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t the company\u2019s first cancellation.<\/p>\n

After Constantino bought MAGA-themed Christmas ornaments for his mother\u2019s neighbors in 2016, a leftist publicized the purchase, leading to what he described as a \u201cfull-scale cancellation\u201d of his company.<\/p>\n

\u201cTens of thousands of Democrats were writing us hate mail,\u201d he recalled. \u201cWe just woke up one day, and it was, like, all hell broke loose. You never had a day where 10,000 people tell you they hate you, they\u2019re going to destroy your company.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Trump was later shot in 2024, it was the straw that broke the camel\u2019s back.<\/p>\n

\u201cDonald Trump got shot, and at that point, I just said, like, \u2018All right, you know, enough\u2019s enough,’\u201d he explained to the Post. \u201cThat experience \u2026 really woke me up to how bad the left has become.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sticker Mule reportedly lost 250,000 customers because of his 2024 endorsement of the president, leaving Constantino feeling as if he had nothing to lose.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he [later] learned that the North Country seat long held by Elise Stefanik would be open, he decided to act,\u201d according to the Post.<\/p>\n

By late July of this year, he\u2019d already secured the GOP nomination for Stefanik\u2019s seat:<\/p>\n

Going into the midterm elections, he\u2019s been focusing his attention on domestic manufacturing.<\/p>\n

\u201cConstantino believes his business \u2014 which produces custom stickers, labels, packaging, apparel and other products from facilities in New York \u2014 can serve as a blueprint for manufacturing domestically,\u201d the Post notes.<\/p>\n

According to him, it\u2019s all about innovation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to start innovating again in the manufacturing space,\u201d he said. \u201cAll of our brain power in America in the last 10 to 20 years \u2026 went to software. You can innovate in software, but you can innovate in hardware too \u2026 In order to bring manufacturing back to America, you have to design your own machines.\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n

In a turn of irony, Constantino has been endorsed by President Trump, the same man he endorsed two years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Anthony Constantino, who is running to represent the fantastic people of New York\u2019s 21st Congressional District,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social in April.<\/p>\n

Constantino later appeared with Trump at a rally earlier this month:<\/p>\n

According to Fox News<\/a>, he\u2019s also been endorsed by\u00a0Roger Stone and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.<\/p>\n

In Trump\u2019s Truth Social post endorsing Constantino, he made reference to the time in 2024 that the Sticker Mule CEO installed an extremely controversial 100-foot \u201cVote for Trump\u201d sign on top of his manufacturing facility.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnthony has been such a Great Supporter that he actually put up a somewhat \u2018controversial\u2019 sign, against strong opposition, in my honor. The sign is still there!\u201d the president wrote.<\/p>\n

Constantino faced a tough primary battle against New York Assemblymember Robert Smullen.<\/p>\n
