Roosevelt.

“He did some good things,” the ex-veep said of FDR. “In fact, it was he who talked about the expansion of the Supreme Court, and then he got ferocious… blowback for that.

“Social Security,” she continued. “When I think about what he did in terms of investing in the people during dire times and talking about the role and responsibility of government, that it should not just be about the benevolence of community organizations or just interpersonal relationships, the government has a role. I think he was a very important president.”

Harris also expressed her admiration for two leaders during the turbulent 1960s: John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, the latter who was responsible for the Great Society welfare state programs.

“I credit Kennedy, of course, in terms of what he laid the groundwork for, and then Johnson followed up on,” she told Morial.

She also added a fourth name to her personal Pantheon of presidential greatness: Barack Obama.

“And then of course, Barack Obama and what he did with the Affordable Care Act, among many things,” Harris said, referring to the much-maligned Obamacare. “But in particular, if we had one issue that’s been ailing America for generations, which is a healthcare system that has failed anyone other than the rich, and addressing the way that he did and took a lot of heat for it, I think he’s one of the greatest presidents.”

President Donald J. Trump also predictably didn’t make the cut.

The snub of the nation’s 46th president was notable since it was Biden who tapped Kamala to be his running mate in 2020 and the history-making turn as the first woman of color to be elected as vice president.

Harris would later go on to replace the senile incumbent who was ousted as the party’s 2024 nominee in a coup orchestrated by Obama and Nancy Pelosi after his disastrous performance at the nationally televised CNN debate with Trump.

While Biden will never be included on the Mount Rushmore of Democratic presidents, simple courtesy would have at least merited a mention from Harris, who came across as an ingrate.

Kamala is going to need to engage in some creative historic revisionism if she plans to be a serious contender for the White House, and she is already airbrushing her former boss out of the picture.

Failed Democratic White House candidate Kamala Harris noticeably left out one name when talking about her list of the best and most effective presidents.
