In a move that should shock nobody but disgust everyone, Dr. Anthony Fauci has decided to plead the Fifth.<\/p>\n

While the Fifth Amendment protects citizens\u2019 right not to incriminate themselves, it is incredibly telling that a public servant who was perfectly okay with raking in taxpayer dollars is not okay with justifying himself to those same taxpayers. Fauci was brought before Congress to answer questions, only to invoke his Fifth Amendment right during his opening statement. This comes after he initially refused to attend the Senate hearing, forcing the committee to issue a subpoena.<\/p>\n
