After Biden’s open border policy was raised, the Democrat politician asked, “What is that open border policy? Can you define what that means?”

“I can tell you that there were … 3,000 murders committed by illegal aliens,” responded LoPresti as the back-and-forth was met with, “I’m asking you what is the open border policy? Can you define what that is? What policy?”

“Letting people flow over the border-” began a response as another interjection wondered, “How did they let? There were still immigration officers. What are you talking about? Define the policy.”

As Martin attempted to suggest that the presence of Border Patrol officials along the border was a refutation of the notion that there was an open border policy under the Biden administration which paroled large swaths of illegal aliens into the country, Phillip stepped in, “Hold on. I think we’re getting — we’re mixing a bunch of different issues at the same time, right? Because what we’re talking about today are specific groups of people. TPS holders are people who are here because they are fleeing a terrible situation in their home countries.”

It was at that point that the argument shifted to whether or not, given the Level 4 travel advisory applied to Haiti by the United States, any Haitian nationals formerly under TPS should be returned there while ignoring the potential that any of those foreign nationals could be linked to the violence making Haiti unsafe to begin with.

Debate on ending temporary protected status (TPS) found a former congressional candidate dumbfounded over former President Joe Biden’s open border policies. “What are you talking about?” (Video Credit: CNN) Tuesday on “CNN NewsNight,” the topic of national sovereignty erupted and found host Abby Phillip stepping to navigate away from a driving force of the current… Continue reading ‘What are you talking about?’ CNN panel descends into shouting match

[17,22,13

post-643297","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-border-security","category-immigration","category-immigration-reform","entry
["GET
