Iran is not doing itself any favors with a recent propaganda video threatening President Donald Trump\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s Tasnim News Agency, an IRGC-linked institution, aired a video clip titled \u201cHow to Kill Melania Trump\u201d on Monday. It is similar in nature to the one published about the president himself, and claims to indicate the first lady\u2019s routine activity in New York as well as the names of locations she frequents. But given the country\u2019s history of propaganda, it is unclear whether this is a genuine threat or yet another absurd attempt to get under the president\u2019s skin as the war continues.<\/p>\n

The clip reportedly ends with an additional threat against Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of Melania and Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us,\u201d it reads.<\/p>\n

Some X users are wondering if the White House is wasting its time trying to negotiate with the kind of people who put out stuff like this:<\/p>\n

Instead of recognizing this pattern, the administration\u2014driven in large part by J.D. Vance\u2019s push for engagement\u2014keeps giving Tehran more time and leverage. Appeasing a regime that sponsors terrorism doesn\u2019t create peace. It creates deterrence failure and projects American weakness. The Islamic Republic has made its intentions clear. Washington should stop pretending otherwise,\u201d Orouji added.<\/p>\n
