The ministry added that export operations would continue subject to ongoing security assessments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>The reopening follows last week\u2019s suspension of crude intake and tanker loadings at the terminal after <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oilprice.com\/Energy\/Energy-General\/Ukraines-Drone-War-Is-Choking-Kazakhstans-Oil-Exports.html\"><span>repeated drone attacks<\/span><\/a><\/strong><span><strong> on vessels operating at or near the facility<\/strong>. Kazakhstan subsequently ordered producers to curb output to prevent storage facilities from filling after access to the export system was cut off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Industry data cited by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/energy\/kazakhstans-daily-oil-output-halves-after-exporting-terminal-closure-source-says-2026-07-27\/\"><span>Reuters<\/span><\/a><span> showed Kazakhstan\u2019s oil and gas condensate production fell to 133,200 metric tons, or about 1 million barrels per day, on Sunday, down from an average 2.16 million bpd in June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>CPC separately confirmed pipeline operations resumed at 12:28 p.m. Moscow time. The ministry did not indicate how quickly production would return to normal levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The 1,500-kilometer CPC pipeline transports crude from Kazakhstan\u2019s giant Tengiz oilfield across southern Russia to the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk and carries more than 80% of Kazakhstan\u2019s crude exports. International producers including Chevron and ExxonMobil rely on the route to move Tengiz production to global markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/tengiz.jpg?itok=4iAGhGsa\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/tengiz.jpg?itok=4iAGhGsa\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"0c25b1d6-3773-4ca3-9394-f87f887f9f16\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"209\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/tengiz.jpg?itok=4iAGhGsa\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Chevron-chartered Suezmax tanker <\/span><strong>Asia<\/strong><span> was also positioned at the terminal on Monday, according to LSEG vessel-tracking data cited by Reuters.
