A swipe at Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) found her insisting President Donald Trump lacked two key requirements to \u201ccome after\u201d her.<\/p>\n

Friday, months after a wannabe assassin delayed the original attempt, the White House Correspondents\u2019 Association Dinner was held in Washington, D.C. During the president\u2019s remarks, he had a particularly scathing roast of Omar that left the congresswoman incensed while claiming it was him who was \u201cmaking us the laughing stock of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reacting to the segment of the speech that addressed her, the Somali-born lawmaker captioned the video, \u201cThe idiot who runs our country says this but doesn\u2019t have the courage or evidence to come after me. This should tell you how low IQ he is. Trump is who needs to get the hell out of our country because he is destroying it and making us the laughing stock of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within his remarks, Trump noted Omar\u2019s questioned and revised financial disclosures, allegations of a scam marriage to her brother, and a viral gaffe as he began, \u201c[California\u2019s] becoming such a horrible and dangerous location that Ilhan Omar, one of my favorites, and her brother are thinking about moving together \u2014 very much in love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA video surfaced recently of Ilhan giving a speech referring to World War II as World War XI, and they asked her about that. She thought she got it right, but I\u2019m not surprised \u2019cause she\u2019s a low IQ person, and she\u2019s also a very dishonest person, and she ought to get the hell out of our country,\u201d asserted the president.\u00a0\u201cShe shouldn\u2019t be here. She shouldn\u2019t be in our country. She also calls her brother, husband number one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump then turned specifically to the revision of the congresswoman\u2019s financial disclosures, reports<\/a> of which coincided with the closure of eStCru Wines, the winery co-owned by her husband, Tim Mynett.<\/p>\n

\u201cOmar is reportedly being investigated for fraud. She revised her net worth. I was shocked to see that she was worth much more than $30 million, and then when the press got on her, she revised it slightly downward to less than $18,000,\u201d said the chief executive. \u201cSo she went from much more than $30 million to $18,000, and I know Dumocrats \u2014 and the word Dumocrats is something that\u2019s come into fashion. I changed the \u2018e\u2019 with a \u2018u.\u2019 And most people don\u2019t know that dumb has a \u2018b,\u2019 so we don\u2019t have to worry about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since Omar accused the president of lacking the \u201ccourage or evidence\u201d to go after her in connection to the allegations, it\u2019s worth noting that Democrats on the Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee shielded her from a subpoena<\/a> as the lawmaker dismissed requests for documents and testimony regarding fraud allegations.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the congresswoman insulated herself from a social media pile-on by restricting replies to her posts.<\/p>\n
