For the second year in a row, the Los Angeles Dodgers visited the White House on Thursday after winning the World Series, putting tradition and the game ahead of politics.<\/p>\n

In addition to the traditional jersey given to the president, Dodgers principal owner Mark Walter broke rank to also give Trump a personalized World Series ring, prompting the president to joke about not wanting to report the gift, as required by law.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, wow,\u201d Trump said after being handed the ring. \u201cOh, you have to be kidding, huh? Wow. Do I have to report this? I don\u2019t wanna report this! That\u2019s beautiful. Thank you very much.\u201d<\/p>\n
