When you belong to an ideology that runs on identity politics, power, and empty platitudes, rampant hypocrisy should be unsurprising.<\/p>\n

Michigan Dem Rep. James Clyburn appeared dismayed over a photo taken at a rally for progressive U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw a picture that concerned me from the rally. I didn\u2019t see a single person that looks like me. That tells me all I need to know,\u201d Clyburn, who is supporting El-Sayed\u2019s Democrat primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, said.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear what photo Clyburn was speaking of, but here\u2019s a short clip of El-Sayed\u2019s recent rally:<\/p>\n

On the flipside, Republican candidate for Michigan\u2019s U.S. Senate seat Mike Rogers is hopeful, saying his internal polling is up and his Democrat opponents are too radical for Michigan voters. \u201cPeople are ready to change direction,\u201d he said. \u201cI just don\u2019t think he likes America,\u201d Rogers said of El-Sayed.<\/p>\n
