Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger is facing backlash because of the horrific actions of an illegal alien child rapist and murderer.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Spanberger, Virginia is a \u201csanctuary state\u201d where Mexican national Raul Genesis Ortiz Moran, 29, was allowed to run free. While running free, he established a relationship with a Virginia woman with a 2-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n

Then on July 4, he, the woman, and the girl showed up at the Goochland County Sheriff\u2019s Office seeking help.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe baby wasn\u2019t conscious at the time,\u201d Louisa County Sheriff Donnie Lowe told local station WTVR<\/a>. \u201cThey tried to revive the baby along with the fire rescue that showed up immediately after, but their attempts were unsuccessful.\u201d<\/p>\n

A subsequent investigation was launched after deputies noticed injuries to the child\u2019s head and body.<\/p>\n

Lt. Chuck Love of the Louisa County Sheriff\u2019s Office told The Roanoke Times<\/a> that after interviewing both Moran and the deceased girl\u2019s mother, they quickly got a strong idea of what had occurred.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, Love said, the investigators initially lacked sufficient forensic evidence to obtain the felony warrants they were seeking,\u201d according to the Times.<\/p>\n

They needed more time to investigate and build evidence, so they did the next best thing \u2014 they contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were afraid that he was going to bolt, so we called ICE, and yeah, they picked him up,\u201d Lowe said.<\/p>\n

After Moran was scooped up by ICE, he was eventually charged by the Louisa County Sheriff\u2019s Office with sexual battery and second-degree murder.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an unimaginable tragedy involving the death of a young child,\u201d Lowe said in a statement. \u201cOur detectives have worked tirelessly to thoroughly investigate this case and ensure those responsible are held accountable. Our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone affected by this heartbreaking incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Times, Moran also has a history of illegal driving.<\/p>\n

\u201cCourt records show that on July 2, two days before the girl\u2019s death, he was stopped in Hanover County and charged with driving without a license, a repeated offense,\u201d the Times notes. \u201cRecords show he had twice previously been convicted of driving without a license.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anger is now being directed at Spanberger for having allowed this creep to run free.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis monster sexually assaulted and murdered a 2-year-old girl in Virginia,\u201d Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement. \u201cThanks to the cooperation of our local law enforcement partners, this killer is off the streets and will face justice for his crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis horrific tragedy was completely avoidable, because this illegal alien should have never been in our country. Governor Spanberger\u2019s sanctuary policies have made Virginia a hotbed for illegal alien crime<\/strong>,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Raul Ortiz Moran AND EVERYONE WHO PROTECTS HIM is a monster.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the 2-year old girl you swore to protect @GovernorVA<\/a>, not the scum who raped and murdered her.<\/p>\n

One critic even called for the governor\u2019s office to be raided.<\/p>\n

\u201cVirginia Gov\u2019r Spanberger has already broken many laws that the \u2018sanctuary\u2019 liberal label has no legal standing to override,\u201d the critic wrote<\/a> on social media. \u201cIt\u2019s time to raid her office, her DA\u2019s office & jails to recover foreign criminals & evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Democrat Party\u2019s Evil has no bounds. A toddler is dead, raped by an illegal foreigner & Spanberger smiles as does NYC Mayor Mamdani to telegraph their empty souls & corrupt schemes. They steal our taxes, harbor criminals & condone rape & murder,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
