Trump has long claimed that the 14th Amendment encourages birth tourism and illegal immigration, and has sought to end it during his second and final term.<\/p>\n<p>But while the Supreme Court may have shot down his direct attempt at ending birthright citizenship, Sen. Jim Banks, R-Indiana, believes he may have found a loophole. He will \u201cintroduce legislation Monday aimed at ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and birth tourists by defining them as children of \u2018invaders\u2019 under federal law after a Supreme Court ruling last month dealt a setback to President Donald Trump\u2019s executive order on the issue,\u201d according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-birthright-citizenship-fight-comes-roaring-back-page-from-kavanaugh-playbook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a> report.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Fox News Digital, the lawmaker revealed that the planned \u201cto introduce the Citizenship Act as soon as the Senate opens for business Monday afternoon \u2013 crafting it with a nod to Trump-appointed Justice Brett Kavanaugh\u2019s concurrence in last month\u2019s Trump v.
