A Fox News segment erupted when anchor Trace Gallagher locked horns with Jessica Tarlov over the Democrat Party\u2019s double standards.<\/p>\n

The pair got into a heated debate as the discussion focused on former Maine Senate hopeful Graham Platner, who ended his race against incumbent GOP Sen. Susan Collins after multiple scandals and an allegation of sexual assault.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say this: not only were they covering for him \u2014 and you talked about red lines\u2026they were literally calling him not just \u2018oh, bad guy, I\u2019ve got some problems.\u2019 They were calling him a \u2018man of values\u2019 until the sexual allegations came out,\u201d Gallagher said in a panel discussion on Wednesday as he highlighted the left\u2019s selective outrage.<\/p>\n

Pretty incredible that the Democrat argument has devolved to \u201cyeah, we are awful, but you\u2019re awful to, so you can\u2019t criticize us for being awful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI have never called Graham Platner that,\u201d Tarlov objected.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t say you did, but the Democratic Party was calling him a man of values,\u201d Gallagher noted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m the one who\u2019s sitting here talking to you about how the average Democrat I talk to \u2014 and certainly people within the larger party infrastructure \u2014 were always uncomfortable with Graham Platner and his behaviors,\u201d Tarlov claimed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will say, though, something that has not changed since we heard from Jenny Racicot: the Democrats will not be lectured by the party of Donald Trump and Ken Paxton,\u201d she sneered, prompting a quick reaction from Gallagher.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, you can make the face, Max Miller \u2014 and say that we\u2019re the bad guys who are flipping standards, or that we\u2019re going to be told from on high about what good behavior is when it comes to how women are treated and questions of abuse. That is a non-starter here,\u201d she argued. \u201cWe want to win the Senate. We are in a good position\u2026But all roads have to go through Maine. We need a strong candidate there, and my hope is that we will get that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gallagher then dropped a reality check on the Fox News host.<\/p>\n

\u201cExcept it\u2019s very emblematic of the Democratic Party to continue to say \u2014 regardless of staying on topic, regardless of what the issue is, regardless of anything \u2014 \u2018no way, it\u2019s all Trump.\u2019 \u2018It\u2019s Trump.\u2019 \u2018Well, remember Trump.\u2019 And how can you say, I just also said Max Miller, I talked about, but it\u2019s an interesting thing when it kind of goes back to: let\u2019s just talk about the topic at hand,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, that\u2019s the whole thing. And I think an important part of this is the covering-up continuing,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Social media users blasted Tarlov and Democrats for their hypocrisy.<\/p>\n

Blind to dementia, blind to a Totenkopf tattoo, deaf to abuse allegations \u2013 and then they lecture everyone else about moral judgment. This is a party led by people who are politically deaf, blind, and dumb until the optics become impossible to manage.<\/p>\n
