Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, is back with one of his attention-grabbing comparisons, this time targeting socialism.<\/p>\n

Kennedy joined Fox News, where he discussed Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner, who has once again found himself on the business end of sexual assault allegations. During his remarks, he came up with a particularly colorful attack on his Democratic colleagues who are increasingly embracing the message of socialism.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith respect to Mr. Platner,<\/span>\u00a0he was nominated by the Hamas<\/span>\u00a0wing of the Democratic Party,<\/span>\u00a0which is in control. <\/span>With respect to the new<\/span>\u00a0allegations or revelations about<\/span>\u00a0him, I was completely shocked.<\/span>\u00a0Who could possibly have seen<\/span>\u00a0this coming?<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s not like there were signs<\/span>\u00a0or something,\u201d the senator snarked.<\/span> \u201cI tell you who saw it coming.<\/span>\u00a0Every American who was paying<\/span>\u00a0attention, and who has an IQ<\/span>\u00a0above a toaster, knew that this<\/span>\u00a0guy\u2019s motherboard was fried.<\/span>\u00a0Even my colleague, Senator<\/span> [Chuck] Schumer, who can\u2019t even cook a<\/span>\u00a0cheeseburger, saw this coming.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNumber two, as an aside, you are<\/span>\u00a0not going to beat Susan Collins<\/span>\u00a0in Maine with Graham Platner or<\/span>\u00a0otherwise.<\/span>\u00a0There is a reason that she\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0been a United States senator<\/span>\u00a0from Maine since God was a baby.<\/span>\u00a0The people like her.<\/span>\u00a0They respect her toughness.<\/span>\u00a0If you get between Susan and<\/span>\u00a0what\u2019s best for Maine and<\/span>\u00a0America, she will devour you<\/span>\u00a0like a light snack and the<\/span>\u00a0people of Maine like that,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy third point is the Hamas<\/span>\u00a0wing of the Democratic Party is<\/span>\u00a0about to do the same thing in<\/span>\u00a0Michigan,\u201d Kennedy noted. \u201cThey are going to nominate,<\/span>\u00a0for the Senate this guy, Dr.<\/span>\u00a0Abdul El-Sayed. They all believe the same thing, they stand for the same thing.<\/span>\u00a0Kill all the millionaires, open<\/span>\u00a0the prisons, open the border.<\/span>\u00a0Defund the police.<\/span>\u00a0Defund ICE;<\/span>\u00a0every single one of them knows<\/span>\u00a0the words to the Cuban national<\/span>\u00a0anthem.<\/span>\u00a0They are all neo-socialists.<\/span>\u00a0Now, unless you were playing<\/span>\u00a0frisbee in the quad during<\/span>\u00a0history class or economics class,<\/span>\u00a0you know the list \u2014 you know<\/span>\u00a0the list of countries that<\/span>\u00a0have tried socialism<\/span>\u00a0and rejected it is as<\/span>\u00a0long as King Kong\u2019s genitalia.<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s not just Cuba.<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s the USSR.<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s China.<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s Vietnam.<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s Argentina.<\/span>\u00a0It\u2019s Venezuela.<\/span>\u00a0I could keep going.<\/span>\u00a0For my party, this makes me<\/span>\u00a0happy.<\/span>\u00a0For my country, it makes me sad.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Later, Kennedy apologized for his hilarious but crass comparison.<\/p>\n

\u201cI take back what I said about genitalia,\u201d he said. \u201cI probably shouldn\u2019t have said that.\u201d<\/p>\n
