NASCAR stars divided fans this Fourth of July weekend with messages celebrated and panned by Americans on social media.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to argue that there\u2019s a sport more American than NASCAR, and nothing proves that better than Chase Briscoe\u2019s speech after winning in the Bass Pro Shops Red, White and Blue car over the July 4th weekend. Winning the Chicagoland race resulted in a victory lane that got the hearts of red-blooded Americans everywhere pumping with pride, as the United States celebrated 250 years of undeniable greatness.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like that\u2019s the most American I\u2019ll ever feel in my life,\u201d he added later. \u201cJust the whole Bass Pro Shops group. It\u2019s a huge thing, obviously they so big on being proud to be an American. To win on this weekend, it means a lot to all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

But while Briscoe was oozing pride, fellow racer Bubba Wallace had a different message for America\u2019s milestone.<\/p>\n

While some saw this as a message of unity despite petty differences, others couldn\u2019t help but question the messenger.<\/p>\n
