Fox News\u2019 Jessica Tarlov posted a July 4th message that didn\u2019t land well with patriots on social media.<\/p>\n

The left is having a difficult time loving their country under President Donald Trump\u2019s second term, but they also have a long-term problem of reflexively apologizing for celebrating the United States. There can be no pride without the addition of mentioning the country\u2019s \u201cfaults\u201d or past events, perhaps as a means of not appearing too enthusiastic about loving their homeland. Tarlov found herself caught in this same cycle on Saturday, when she tried to wish Americans a happy 4th of July.<\/p>\n

Imagine going to your friend\u2019s birthday party, or their wedding, and saying something like \u201cfor all their faults, there is no better friend and so lucky to be their friend!\u201d It\u2019s going to sound like the backhanded compliment it is, and you\u2019ll likely never be invited to anything they host in the future.<\/p>\n

The natural inclination to apologize for the greatest country in the world didn\u2019t escape the notice of X users:<\/p>\n
