With only days remaining until Planned Parenthood\u2019s\u00a0federal funding resumes, the pro-abortion entity is now moving to attack vulnerable Republicans who\u2019re up for reelection in the upcoming midterms.<\/p>\n

Last Fourth of July, President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill, which contained a provision in it prohibiting Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood for one year<\/span>\u00a0and just one year alone.<\/p>\n

The Big Beautiful Bill only pauses funding for Planned Parenthood for one year.<\/p>\n

Is it a good bill? Yes.<\/p>\n

Is it even close to a great deal considering that Republicans have control of the House and Senate? No.<\/p>\n

With the one-year deadline approaching, some congressional Republicans are moving as fast as they can to implement a new ban before Planned Parenthood starts raking in federal money again.<\/p>\n

The problem is that Planned Parenthood appears to be working just as hard to attack vulnerable Republicans to intimidate them into not voting for another funding block.<\/p>\n

The Planned Parenthood Action Fund explained in a Friday announcement that it\u2019s launching a $2 million campaign to target a number of vulnerable House Republicans.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlanned Parenthood Action Fund is supporting digital advertising and on-the-ground efforts, mobilizing constituents to contact their members of Congress to stop attacks on Planned Parenthood health centers and oppose any legislation that attempts to make the \u2018defund\u2019 permanent,\u201d the organization said in a press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood\u2019s targets include Reps. David Schweikert, Juan Ciscomani, Gabe Evans, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Bill Huizenga, Tom Barrett, Mike Lawler, Brian Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Makenzie.<\/p>\n

This new campaign will reportedly build on an original $1.5 million campaign that was launched in April.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe numbers don\u2019t lie: President Trump and congressional Republicans\u2019 unconstitutional \u2018defunding\u2019 of Planned Parenthood health centers has stopped people from getting the time-sensitive, lifesaving care they need,\u201d Action Fund executive director Brianna Twofoot said<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople\u2019s lives are being upended and their futures put at risk by the reckless actions of their elected officials. They didn\u2019t ask for this. Lawmakers made this choice, and they need to own the consequences,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

The good news is that the White House is prepared to unilaterally continue its battle against Planned Parenthood in case its funding is restarted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Trump administration will continue to hold Planned Parenthood and all recipients of Federal funds fully accountable for any and all instances of waste, fraud, or abuse,\u201d\u00a0White House spokesperson Allison Schuster told The Daily Signal.<\/p>\n

The further good news is that, according to President Donald Trump, congressional Republicans are in the process of \u201cnegotiating\u201d some type of\u00a0 solution that hasn\u2019t been publicly revealed yet:<\/p>\n

However, Noah Brandt, the vice president of communications and government affairs at Live Action, warned that though closing off Planned Parenthood\u2019s federal money led to the closure of several of the organization\u2019s facilities\/clinics, it may not be good enough.<\/p>\n

Speaking with The Daily Signal, Brant explained that the organization has since expanded into telehealth.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if they\u2019re literally going to be building new facilities if they get their federal money back, but they certainly will be doing way more abortions and more trans-ing children,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America non-profit has sent a letter<\/a> to Republican senators urging them to defund Planned Parenthood again, ASAP.<\/p>\n

\u201cBudget reconciliation remains the only viable legislative path to continuing to defund Big Abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood,\u201d the letter reads. \u201cWe urge you to act quickly for the sake of the unborn and their moms.\u201d<\/p>\n
