But once that liquidity boom faded and interest rates were pushed sharply higher to rein in the inflation monster fueled by helicopter money, the secondary luxury market slid into a multi-year correction.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last year and a half, however, that downturn appears to have bottomed out <em>(see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/markets\/have-you-checked-used-rolex-prices\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/markets\/have-you-checked-used-rolex-prices\">here<\/a>)<\/em>, with prices continuing to rebound.<\/p>\n<p>The Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks prices for the 50 most-traded watches by value on the secondary market, bottomed in January 2025, about 1.5 years ago, and has been tracking higher ever since.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Subdial&#8217;s used Rolex index bottomed around $11,000 in January 2025 and has since rebounded to nearly $12,000.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>And used Audemars Piguet watch prices.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/used_4.png?itok=yqSrSMZ_\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/used_4.png?itok=yqSrSMZ_\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"1d9db49e-bdcc-4eba-8b8b-968a7265033f\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/used_4.png?itok=yqSrSMZ_\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A more granular look at the used Rolex watch index shows the Rolex Submariner Date &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/rolex.png?itok=qZM8Jg-K\" data-link-option=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/rolex.png?itok=qZM8Jg-K\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"94f108c9-1078-4f4a-937d-aeb49df32a61\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" height=\"258\" width=\"500\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/rolex.png?itok=qZM8Jg-K\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;
