Delaware Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester wouldn\u2019t give any substantive answers on why she\u2019s celebrating the recent wins of three socialist Democrat candidates in New York, and her lack of preparedness resulted in an embarrassing viral moment.<\/p>\n

Rather than explaining why embracing socialism would be an advantage for the Democratic Party as a whole, Blunt Rochester dodged the issue by citing NY wins in which two socialist candidates defeated incumbents.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that, first of all, the fact that people are engaged at a level they\u2019ve never been engaged before is a positive thing, especially in the 250th anniversary of this country,\u201d Blunt Rochester said on CNBC\u2019s \u201cSquawk Box\u201d, according to Fox News Digital<\/a>. \u201cWe want people to participate. What I can say, though, about Democrats, and as someone who is working to win the majority, what I can say is that politics are local.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blunt Rochester clarified, adding that Democratic candidates run on different ideologies depending on geographic location.<\/p>\n

\u201cFish might not work in New York, or it might not work in North Carolina, but that works there,\u201d she said of Alaska Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola\u2019s \u201cFish, family, and freedom\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so for us, the most important thing is that we hear the people. We want to be known that we\u2019re listening to them and that we\u2019re fighting for them. And again, it might look different in different places across the country, but we do believe that people are concerned about this economy and the cost of things. And so we\u2019re going to continue to fight for them. So to me, it\u2019s a win-win,\u201d Blunt Rochester said.<\/p>\n

But the devastatingly viral moment came when host Joe Kernen straight-up asked, \u201cWhere has socialism ever worked, senator?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs that another question, or is that for the next interview?\u201d she floundered, clearly wanting the interview to end.<\/p>\n

When Kernen repeated the question, Blunt Rochester doubled down on nonsense.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, when you have me come back on, we can talk about all the races across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Senator Rochester is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Socialism\/Communism is her belief system, almost like a religion. It doesn\u2019t matter that it\u2019s failed everywhere it\u2019s been tried. Facts don\u2019t matter to her and her fellow commies.<\/p>\n
