According to longtime investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson, Dr. Anthony Fauci is a stone-cold liar \u2014 and she can prove it.<\/p>\n

In a tweet posted Friday, Attkisson revealed that while Fauci, then a member of the Trump administration, was publicly describing COVID-19 as \u201cten times deadlier than [the] flu\u201d in 2020, he was privately singing a different tune.<\/p>\n

\u201c[H]e actually co-published a scientific paper stating the opposite: Covid was about like a bad flu season,\u201d Attkisson wrote.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s another thing I\u2019ve written and spoken about that Dr Fauci didn\u2019t tell the truth about but nobody else flagged.
\nAs he was going on comedy shows and testifying to Congress early on that Covid was \u201cten times deadlier than flu,\u201d he actually co-published a scientific\u2026 https:\/\/t.co\/bEXT2tWQSd<\/a><\/p>\n

She wasn\u2019t wrong. On Feb. 28, 2020, Fauci published a paper<\/a>, \u201cCovid-19 \u2014 Navigating the Uncharted,\u201d in the New England Journal of Medicine. In the paper, he wrote the exact opposite of what he\u2019d later go on to say publicly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf one assumes that the number of asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic cases is several times as high as the number of reported cases, the case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%,\u201d he wrote about the coronavirus.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza<\/strong> (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

This paragraph directly contradicted what Fauci later said in congressional testimony and media appearances, which was that COVID-19 was roughly 10 times deadlier than the seasonal flu.<\/p>\n

In her tweet, Attkisson added that she\u2019d tried to interview him about the paper, but to no avail.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time, I called his office for an interview \u2014 and although he was never shy, he wouldn\u2019t agree to an interview with me,\u201d she explained. \u201cI then asked his office to explain which of his statements was correct. One or the other had to be false, by definition. Fauci\u2019s office declined to answer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Attkisson\u2019s bombshell reveal comes following the decision Thursday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to publish a treasure trove of \u201ccommunications and documents\u201d exposing Fauci.<\/p>\n

According to Gabbard, the documents expose \u201chow Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus\u2019 lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n

The DNI\u2019s tweet linked to a press release containing more details about how Fauci \u201cprovided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV)\u2014work which is now widely viewed as the source of the unintentional lab leak that sparked the pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later Saturday morning, Attkisson published two new tweets containing a roadmap of how she believes Fauci\u2019s whole shtick worked.<\/p>\n
