Tehran has insisted that a ceasefire in Lebanon is part of the interim deal, meaning the Israel-Hezbollah front could derail the US-Iran diplomatic path to a sustained <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/energy\/hormuz-normalization-begins-saudi-supertankers-exit-and-flood-persian-gulf-oil-heads-asia\">reopening of the Strait of Hormuz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/9cd814af-6144-4646-ad1c-a6292391e613?syn-25a6b1a6=1\">The Financial Times<\/a> provided more details on the overnight development:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Talks between Iran and the US in Switzerland were postponed due to Israel launching a wave of deadly air strikes on southern Lebanon, according to three people familiar with the matter.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Iran did not send a delegation to Switzerland for the nuclear talks because of the attacks, the people said.
