UFC Freedom 250, held in the shadow of the White House and attended by President Donald J. Trump, was called \u201cthe greatest night of fights of all time\u201d by Joe Rogan, who provided ringside commentary on the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was the wildest experience that I\u2019ve ever had in my 20-whatever years of calling combat sports. There\u2019s nothing even close. Nothing even close,\u201d Rogan said on his popular podcast. \u201cIt was the greatest night of fights of all time and it was the only night in the history of the sport where every single fight ended by knockout. Every single one, seven fights. Every one of them ended by knockout, which never happens. Unprecedented. It was like the perfect experience for anybody that had never watched the UFC before, to see it that way at the White House like that, it was nuts.\u201d<\/p>\n

The spectacle of the event was as grand as America\u2019s 250th anniversary, marked with the flyover of all flyovers, leaving Trump-hating Democrats in the unenviable position of condemning a tremendous celebration of American patriotism. The one incident pounced on by those eager to criticize was when UFC fighter Josh Hokit declared during his post-fight interview, \u201cAnd lastly, Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?\u201d<\/p>\n

Hokit was essentially trolling the left, but his remark was widely condemned, with even UFC President Dana White calling it \u201cnonsense,\u201d saying he was \u201ccompletely against saying nasty and false things about people\u2019s families.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Thursday, an Instagram account that warns followers not to \u201ctake us too seriously\u201d posted what it claimed to be an apology from Hokit.<\/p>\n

The post included a photo of Hokit and Michelle Obama smiling at each other, along with the caption, \u201cI spoke with former first lady Michelle Obama to apologize for my distasteful comments following my win. I have pledged $50,000 of my earnings to the Obama Foundation. I will be an active spokesman for Black Women in America.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fighter shared that post on his Instagram Story, BUT he added the term \u201cCap\u201d at the top, as seen on the screenshot below:<\/p>\n

The term \u201ccap\u201d is slang for someone calling out a statement as false \u2014 prompting some to suggest that Hokit was trolling critics yet again!<\/p>\n

Not one to mince his words, a social media user shared Hokit\u2019s actual response to all the \u201ccontroversy,\u201d as seen here: \u201cNo outrage when you say \u2018Melania Trump is an escort\u2019 no outrage when you say \u2018Charlie Kirk brought his death upon himself\u2019 or \u2018Charlie Kirk deserved to die\u2019 so KISS MY ASS, EVERYONE!!\u201d<\/p>\n
