However, with days remaining before a signing ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland, pundits parsing through facts and propaganda led Fox News’ Dana Perino to question, “This is the most transparent administration in history?”

Prompted by co-host Greg Gutfeld, with Democrats claiming Trump’s deal was no different or worse than President Barack Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, the last White House press secretary of President George W. Bush’s administration contended she could make the arguments of the opposition “better for them.”

Perino began, “Okay, so you killed all those 40 leaders, but now the [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] is in charge. So, that’s who we’re dealing with, and that’s who we’re supposed to stand next to on Friday and sign an agreement that nobody has seen or read?”

“This is the most transparent administration in history? Like, I can make all of those points,” she added as Gutfeld reacted, “You have to stop doing that, Dana.”

At the same time, Jessica Tarlov chimed in from across the table, “I think she sounds great!”

“Like we said at the very beginning, the victories are usually visible, clear, understandable,” continued Perino. “And it’s just premature to say. We haven’t even read the information. If I were the Democrats, I would be saying, ‘You telegraph everything else. Why won’t you let us read the thing?’ And I think maybe there’s two reasons for that.”

“One, things are still being worked out behind the scenes, which would be, I guess, understandable. It’s like they jumped the gun, perhaps, in saying, ‘There’s a deal! It’s great! Everything’s moving.’ But then an hour later, ‘No, it’s not, but maybe it is.’ And I tried to keep up with it all day long. I think the best thing we can tell our viewers is to say, we gotta wait and see,” she expressed. “It looks like there could be progress here, at least in getting this to end, and the possibility of oil to start moving.”

Before co-host Jesse Watters could weigh in with details about the memorandum of understanding that he had been briefed on, including a toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the seizure and destruction of enriched uranium, Perino made the case that the Trump administration should focus on achievements in the Middle East, such as the elimination of Qasem Soleimani and the strikes of Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury.

“I have a feeling we’re going to be talking a lot about Iran, but yet, nobody’s read the documents, so it’s unclear what you can really say about it,” she concluded ahead of a news cycle featuring Trump’s attendance of the G7 summit, the opening of Obama’s presidential library in Chicago and (with Vice President J.D. Vance set to attend the in-person signing of the deal) the release of his new book, “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith.”

Lamenting a lack of transparency ahead of a scheduled public deal signed with Iran, one host on “The Five” articulated arguments against the president. “You have to stop doing that, Dana.” (Video Credit: Fox News) Over the weekend, President Donald Trump released a congratulatory statement as he announced a deal had been reached with the… Continue reading Dana Perino torches White House over secretive Iran deal details

[20,23

post-619740","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-economic-empowerment","category-national-security","entry
["GET
