So what’s the priority of New York City’s Mamdani administration these days?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Gonorrhea rates in New York City have more than doubled in a decade and syphilis is \u2018surging\u2019 statewide. Mamdani\u2019s Department of Health has responded to this crisis\u00a0by rushing a\u00a0<\/a>free supply of lubricant and chocolate flavored condoms.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Beam me up, Scotty.<\/p>\n

FPM quoted NYC Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services Helen Arteaga as stating,<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cProviding high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare services is a priority for the Mamdani Administration. Making safer sex products more accessible to the most affected and vulnerable communities is a critical public health need.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, it\u2019s good to have priorities. But are chocolate-flavored condoms safer than regular old garden-variety ones? I\u2019m guessing not, but I couldn\u2019t tell you from experience.<\/p>\n

FPM again:<\/p>\n

Councilwoman Pierina Sanchez, a Mamdani ally, explained that the free chocolate flavored condoms were necessary because “inequities persist among women, low-income households, and Black and Latino New Yorkers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Women, low-income households, and black and Latino New Yorkers are adversely and\u00a0disproportionately\u00a0affected by a relative dearth of chocolate-flavored condoms? Is New York a den of\u00a0iniquity<\/s>\u00a0inequity?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Unfortunately for virtue-signaling do-gooders, the free chocolaty condoms are coming from Karex, a Malaysian company that is apparently the largest manufacturer of condoms on Earth.<\/p>\n

Why is this unfortunate?<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0The Telegraph<\/a>, some Karex workers said they are put up in cramped and undignified conditions, with as many as a dozen housed in damp and unhygienic dormitories.<\/p>\n

Workers at one site are allegedly granted just half of a steel bunkbed, with no mattress \u2014 and only have access to a filthy, broken toilet. And for these \u201camenities,\u201d about 12\u00a0dollars\u00a0a month is deducted from their wages. The Telegraph reported that one Karex employee said\u00a0\u201csometimes poisonous snakes come in\u201d to the dorms.<\/p>\n

Not sure if that\u2019s a blessing or a curse.<\/p>\n

\u201cForget the crime! Forget the fact that the city is broke! Chocolate condoms for everybody!\u201d does not seem like a winning slogan for Mamdani<\/strong><\/em> \u2026 but what do I know?<\/p>\n

Ask not what you can do for the city, ask what Mayor Mamdani can do to \u2014 I mean\u00a0for\u00a0<\/em>— you!\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure someone in the Mamdani administration will tout the mayor\u2019s actions thusly: \u201cThese delectable prophylactics will be generously distributed, free of cost, to all genders with a penis \u2026 and to all those that love them! Mayor Mamdani is hard at work to make your lives better!\u201d <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Considering the shape the city is in, this may be the biggest cover up in the history of the Big Apple.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
