Last month, KTLA<\/em> (Los Angeles) reported that an Orange County mother was facing felony charges, including involuntary manslaugher, after her 14-year-old son crashed his e-bike into an elderly, 81-year-old Vietnam veteran.<\/p>\n

The 14-year-old is facing separate charges.<\/p>\n

The veteran later died after the crash.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say that the mother was warned repeatedly about her son’s dangerous behavior.<\/p>\n

It was a hit-and-run crash.<\/p>\n

The Orange County district attorney said, “This case should be a warning to ALL parents.” <\/p>\n

A memorial was created in memory of the victim.<\/p>\n\n
