JFK\u2019s \u201cprogressive\u201d grandson Jack Schlossberg, a frequent Trump critic, is now singing the president\u2019s praise \u2014 at least on one matter.<\/p>\n

Schlossberg, known for running his mouth<\/a>, was speaking with New York station WCBS last weekend about his skilled social media use when he was asked whether he believes President Donald Trump shares the same talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t admire President Trump for anything, but I deeply, deeply respect and recognize his genius in the way that he programs all of what we talk about every day,\u201d Schlossberg said, according to Fox News<\/a>. \u201cHe programs our minds. He says things, and we end up repeating them all day long.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s living in all of our heads right now. And it\u2019s terrible, but it is powerful. And it is the one way to wield power now. And we don\u2019t really have an option not to compete out there,\u201d the Kennedy scion added.<\/p>\n

Schlossberg famously used social media two years ago to demand that all Trump Cabinet members submit a stool sample:<\/p>\n

Schlossberg continued by urging Democrats to follow the president\u2019s lead.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do [like] that the way that Democrats in the past have always used new media, which is to celebrate and get the information out about the things that we stand for because we should be proud of it,\u201d he said. \u201cWe should use our humor, our intellect. We should not be afraid to take risks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the way that I do that is not going to be the same as the way another candidate does that. It\u2019s about being authentic to who you are and letting people into your world. The other candidates I\u2019m running against, they want you to look away. I want you to look at everything that I\u2019m doing because I\u2019m proud of it and thinking about it, and I\u2019m working 24\/7,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

These remarks follow praise Schlossberg had for Trump<\/a> back in March, when he gave the president a shout-out for having \u201cflipped the script\u201d during the 2024 presidential campaign and brought young people into the GOP fold.<\/p>\n

\u201cI disagree with President Trump a lot,\u201d he said, before crediting him with \u201cgetting people fired up about politics.\u201d He also urged his own party to learn from the way Trump \u201cpoached\u201d young men from the left.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that they\u2019re not stupid, those young men, and I give President Trump a lot of credit for being able to influence new meeting environments and make politics accessible,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Despite his praise for the president, Schlossberg later aimed fire at Trump during a Democratic primary debate Tuesday evening by calling for the impeachment of both him and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to have the confidence to impeach and remove President Trump and RFK Jr, who I would love to take on one-on-one and impeach him and remove him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In fairness to Schlossberg, he also took shots at the Democratic Party \u2014 namely the campaigns of former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I saw disappointed me and inspired me,\u201d he said. \u201cWhat I was disappointed by was how little the Democratic Party was actually doing to reach out to people. What inspired me was just how many young people were out there ready to lend their hand, to get involved. And all they needed was somebody speaking their own language, on their terms, on the platforms where they get their information from.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing that we need to be worried about, and the central question in this election, is who is going to be able to galvanize the support of young people, the people our party has lost over the last two decades, and build a more effective fighting force to take on Donald Trump and MAGA. We need our own political movement,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
