Based on the European Union\u2019s latest move, it appears the 27-member-state bloc is finally starting to heed President Donald Trump\u2019s wisdom.<\/p>\n

While speaking at the United Nations\u2019 General Assembly last year, the president warned that the E.U.\u2019s lax immigration policies were destroying it.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re destroying your countries,\u201d he said. \u201cEurope is in serious trouble; they\u2019ve been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody\u2019s ever seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Months later, the E.U. \u201chas moved forward with a vast overhaul of its migration policy, aiming to ramp up deportations<\/strong> and ink controversial deals to build detention centers<\/strong> abroad,\u201d according to the Associated Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The policies are so controversial in leftist Europe that critics have compared them to President Trump\u2019s own policies for the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cAcross the Atlantic, we see the violence and fear created by ICE\u2019s brutal immigration enforcement,\u201d Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants spokesperson Silvia Carter whined to the AP.<\/p>\n

\u201cEurope should be learning from the harms of that model, not building its own version of it,\u201d she further insisted.<\/p>\n

If anything, this version might be even better.<\/p>\n

\u201cLaw enforcement officers across the bloc no longer need warrants from judges to raid private residences or public institutions<\/strong> like hospitals\u201d when searching for illegal aliens, according to the AP.<\/p>\n

The European Union has agreed on sweeping new deportation measures that would expand detention powers, allow home searches and create migrant return centres outside the bloc. M\u00e9lissa Camara, a lawmaker from France\u2019s weenie Green Party, also kvetched about the deal, calling it \u201ca historic setback\u201d for human rights.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe legalization of return hubs outside the European Union, the green light for the detention of minors, home visits inspired by ICE practices: the legal arsenal serving a xenophobic ideology is now complete,\u201d she complained.<\/p>\n

Trump isn\u2019t the only American who\u2019s chided Europe\u2019s prior policies. Commenting on social media about the recent murder of white British man Henry Nowak at the hands of a migrant, Vice President JD Vance wrote that Nowak\u2019s murder was \u201cas tragic as it is enraging.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

War Secretary Pete Hegseth also referenced all this during his D-Day commemoration speech in France over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Spain is one lone E.U. country that\u2019s bucked the trend by recently legalizing half a million illegal aliens.<\/p>\n
