A Hollywood actor was found dead, allegedly at the hands of his girlfriend\u2019s son.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles police found James Handy, 81, best known for roles in movies \u201cTop Gun\u201d, \u201cJumanji\u201d and \u201cMaverick\u201d, unconscious in his front yard with a stab wound to the chest, Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

The alleged killer, Michael Gledhill, 44, reportedly flagged officers down when they arrived and confessed to the crime.<\/p>\n

Just after the alleged murder, Gledhill left a bizarre message to 911 stating: \u201cI am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gledhill lived with his mother, Handy\u2019s girlfriend, at the actor\u2019s LA residence and was booked on a murder charge with bail set at $2 million.<\/p>\n

Handy, who had an extensive career in film and TV, was pronounced dead at the hospital.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long for the strange and tragic case to make national headlines, where it received plenty of reaction:<\/p>\n
