The twisted mantra: \u201cVote Blue no matter who\u201d is alive and well on ABC\u2019s \u201cThe View.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show\u2019s hosts erupted in a spat after co-host Sunny Hostin made the case for Maine to vote for embattled Democrat Graham Platner, who\u2019s running to unseat Republican Susan Collins in the U.S. Senate.<\/p>\n

Platner has become known well-beyond Maine\u2019s borders for widespread and credible allegations and evidence against him for racism, anti-Semitism, public sexual deviancy, bigotry, sexism\u2026 You get the point.<\/p>\n

But, for Hostin, the embattled Dem is worth her vote if it\u2019ll thwart President Trump (who she believes is all those things).<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday, I was sort of on the fence,\u201d Hostin said. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Character matters, morals matter. I can\u2019t believe that this is the person in Maine to take on Susan Collins.\u2019 I\u2019m now convinced that we are really in a bad place in this country. Democrats have to take over the Senate. They have to take over the House. They have to bring some semblance of normalcy back to this government.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I lived in Maine, I would hold my nose, and I would pull that lever and vote for him,\u201d she concluded. \u201cThat\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The View co-host Sunny Hostin openly admitted that she would hold her nose and vote for a N\u00aazi (Graham Plater).<\/p>\n

Hostin\u2019s declaration prompted a rebuke from co-host Sara Haines, who \u201cvehemently and strongly\u201d disagreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have too many crappy people with no character, no integrity in D.C., and if we are going to say \u2018Donald Trump is a problem. Look at this person, look at this person, look who he surrounds himself with\u2019 \u2014 we can\u2019t plug our nose and send someone there that\u2019s an antisemitic person, racist, bigoted, sexist, you name it,\u201d Haines shot back.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis marriage is the least of my problems,\u201d she added. \u201cIn fact, that reminds me of just a church-going regular person. It\u2019s everything else that is problematic to me that I would never be able to endorse. This is where it becomes so partisan, because it\u2019s all about what jersey are you wearing?\u201d<\/p>\n

This wasn\u2019t Hostin\u2019s only call to vote for Platner. On Monday, she argued the same thing after calling him a proven \u201ccheater, an antisemite, a liar, a racist, and a homophobe.\u201d<\/p>\n
