Hunter Biden ripped into Jake Tapper after the CNN host criticized former First Lady Jill Biden for her \u201cdownright false\u201d assessment of her husband\u2019s health while he was president.<\/p>\n

The former first son accused Tapper of being \u201cfocused on attacking my Mom\u201d in a social media post, going on to blast President Donald Trump\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

Tapper published a review of Jill Biden\u2019s new memoir, \u201cView from the East Wing,\u201d and commented on his analysis, reading excerpts from the book in a\u00a0video he posted on CNN\u2019s official Instagram account earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you knew Joe Biden well, you\u2019d know that if he actually got to the point where he wasn\u2019t capable of doing the job, he would step down,\u201d he said, reading from the book. \u201cCertainly, if he exhibited cognitive impairment, I would not hesitate to say so. His staff would not hesitate to say so. But he was nowhere near that point in the summer of 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most charitable interpretation of Jill Biden\u2019s book is that she\u2019s still having a difficult time, understandably, talking about what we\u2019re all seeing happen to [her husband] and what we\u2019ve all been seeing happen to him for years,\u201d he said. \u201cA less forgiving version is that she\u2019s been enabling it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, she\u2019s seeking to try to make an excuse for it, while also hinting here and there that there were things going on that she maybe doesn\u2019t even want to acknowledge to herself,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden\u2019s criticism of Tapper triggered a wave of responses on X, where he continued to engage with other users. In another post, he claimed Trump is a \u201cclone,\u201d and something is amiss in the White House as he added another jab at Tapper.<\/p>\n

Trump hasn\u2019t made a public appearance in 8 days. This after an unscheduled visit to the hospital- because he \u201clikes getting check ups.\u201d Thank God Jake Tapper (or as I like to call him- the Brick Tamland of his generation) is on the case hunting down clues in a book about my mom\u2019s\u2026<\/p>\n
