TV reporter Billy Bush went off on Karen Bass, and the timing couldn\u2019t have been worse for the embattled mayor.<\/p>\n

Bush fumed after he reportedly got his fourth <\/em>flat tire since November, and the kicker\u2026 he was on his way to interview Bass\u2019 mayoral opponent, Spencer Pratt.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaren Bass, your timing could not be worse,\u201d he fumed.<\/p>\n

Pratt has captured the national spotlight for his common-sense, unconventional, often humorous but always hard-hitting campaign and debate style.<\/p>\n

Pratt\u2019s home was burned to smithereens in the Palisades fire, and he blames Bass\u2019 lack of leadership for much of the destruction, along with rampant homeless and animal abuse on city streets, and dilapidated infrastructure \u2014 like pot holes!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorta feeling like \u2018saca la Bass-ura\u2019 has never been stronger or more top of mind for me,\u201d Bush added.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s the definition of insanity, LA? Do the same thing over and over again and hope for a different outcome? C\u2019mon,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Radio and TV host Billy Bush was on his way to interview Spencer Pratt when his car got a flat tire on a rundown city street in LA:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my fourth destroyed tire since November. FOURTH because the city streets and highways of Los Angeles are in disrepair! It\u2019s a dilapidated\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/HNPU7dbCrx<\/a><\/p>\n

There was plenty of reaction to the story, with many saying the problem goes well beyond LA:<\/p>\n

The roads all over California are the same. Remember all the gas tax propositions that raised the gas tax so that roads could be fixed, that the money couldn\u2019t be used for any other purpose? It passed but clearly that money was used elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Bush did make it to the interview and told Pratt that he \u201cabsolutely\u201d thinks he can win.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said he absolutely can win,\u201d Bush replies, calling Pratt \u201ca unicorn.\u201d<\/p>\n
