President Donald Trump\u2019s hilarious response to a reporter asking whether he would be attending the nuptials of his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and Bettina Anderson, is getting lots of attention.<\/p>\n

The wedding is reportedly taking place Saturday in the Bahamas, but the president\u2019s released schedule for the weekend indicates he\u2019ll be in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Saturday, according to NBC News.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d like me to go, but it\u2019s going to be just a small little private affair, and I\u2019m going to try and make it. I\u2019m in the midst \u2014 I said, you know, this is not good timing for me,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI have a thing called \u2018Iran\u2019 and other things.\u201d<\/p>\n

The president then shared his thoughts on the wedding, \u201cHe\u2019s got a very \u2014 a person who I\u2019ve known for a long time, and hopefully they are going to have a great marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Don Jr. called the matchup a \u201cbig win\u201d when he and his bride-to-be announced their engagement during a White House holiday party in December. He was married to Vanessa Trump for 13 years and has two children with her. After their divorce, he was engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, who was appointed as U.S. ambassador to Greece in 2025 after they split up.<\/p>\n
