Dr. Mehmet Oz delivered a medical update for the seemingly incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome on \u201cThe View.\u201d<\/p>\n

The administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services weighed in on a recent segment of the ABC daytime talk show after the hosts melted down over President Donald Trump lowering the cost of prescription drugs. Co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin fearmongered that people are \u201call going to die\u201d with the president\u2019s program, TrumpRx, which launched in February and recently added more than 600 generic drugs to the list.<\/p>\n

Billionaire investor Mark Cuban was also raked over the coals by the women for joining with Trump in touting the website, setting off a heated debate between multimillionaires Behar, Hostin, and co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, we still have no medications for Trump Deraangement Syndrome on TrumpRx.gov,\u201d Dr. Oz said, striking a serious tone in a social media post mocking the women of \u201cThe View.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we\u2019re working on it,\u201d he promised.<\/p>\n

\u201cBillionaire Mark Cuban was a harsh critic of MAGA who campaigned for Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, but yesterday he was with you-know-who touting their partnership to expand generic drug coverage,\u201d Whoopi Goldberg said as she set up a clip of Cuban for the segment.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas,\u201d Behar sneered after the clip, with Hostin chiming in, \u201cCorrect! Correct!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I like Mark Cuban. I\u2019ve always liked him, but this is a mistake, and once Trump puts his name on prescriptions, we\u2019re all going to die! Okay?\u201d Behar ranted. \u201cDo not go there, Mark.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farah Griffin tried to insert facts into the fearmongering, pointing out that the drugs \u201cdon\u2019t actually have his name. They\u2019re existing drugs. It\u2019s a marketplace for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Behar continued to discredit the plan, declaring, \u201cIf he\u2019s going to take a profit out of it, don\u2019t take it!\u201d as Hostin heartily agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI agree with you, Joy! He is a failed businessman. And if you heard what he said, he said, we both want to make people wealthy, he didn\u2019t say healthy,\u201d Hostin said. \u201cHe said wealthy, which means to me that there\u2019s something in it for him! This is not a well-intentioned person!\u201d<\/p>\n

Farah Griffin\u2019s efforts to inject sanity into the discussion proved fruitless as she asked why they would rather she have to \u201cpay ten times more for my medication\u201d than accept a Trump program.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe people literally suffering illnesses and cannot pay for their medicine, I can\u2019t think of a sicker business model! Bring down the prices and if you get results on this, call it Donald Trump medicine!\u201d co-host Sara Haines argued.<\/p>\n

But Behar and Hostin continued their disinformation and attacked their co-hosts as \u201cso naive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dr. Oz\u2019s humorous response to the outrage drew plenty of reactions on X.<\/p>\n
