That includes U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who joined him for a campaign rally Friday, and other members of the \u201cSquad,\u201d including U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ro Khanna (D-CA), and Jamie Raskin (D-MD), according to WHYY.<\/p>\n<p>The 56-year-old was also endorsed by the left-wing Working Families Party and the Justice Democrats, as well as Philadelphia City Council Minority Leader Kendra Brooks and Minority Whip Nicolas O\u2019Rourke, both members of the Working Families Party.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">There is a new Democratic Socialist in Congress. Sharif Street who had the backing of most of the city\u2019s establishment, including the endorsement of the state party and Mayor Cherelle Parker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey told me this wasn\u2019t possible. That\u2019s what they said,\u201d he said during a victory speech. \u201cI don\u2019t know who they are, but I know who we are. I\u2019m looking at \u2018We the people.\u2019 And I\u2019m not talking about we the people 250 years ago. That was a much smaller we. I\u2019m talking about the aggressive fabulosity of this we.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If Rabb goes on to victory in November, his \u201cplatform would make him one of the harshest critics of Israel in Congress,\u201d\u00a0 according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/anti-israel-squad-member-chris-rabb-wins-democratic-congress-nod-in-pennsylvania\/\">The Times of Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe supports a complete embargo on arms sales to Israel.
