Whether Mark Cuban wanted to \u201cgo there\u201d or not, his politics became a key focus while teaming up with the president, earning jibes at the White House before he deleted a post aimed at detractors.<\/p>\n

On Monday, President Donald Trump was joined by administration officials and partners in his TrumpRX effort to provide Americans with access to affordable, generic pharmaceuticals. Joining in that effort, online pharmacy Cost Plus Drugs founder Cuban took heat over his support for Democrats, leading him to walk back a post after he lashed out at those he deemed a \u201cf*cking idiot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf anyone thinks I\u2019m going to put politics ahead of helping Americans reduce their cost of healthcare and pharmaceuticals, they are a f*cking idiot. Tell me one person who thinks that healthcare economics are well run in this country,\u201d Cuban posted. \u201cIt\u2019s the biggest affordability issue, and the greatest fear of most families is that they won\u2019t be able to afford a significant healthcare or medication cost. The goal is the goal. And that goal is to change healthcare. I\u2019ve been saying it for years and will continue to work on this.\u201d<\/p>\n

After taking the post down, the billionaire wrote, \u201cDeleted the last post because I decided cursing didn\u2019t make my point. It hurt it. And I rarely care about cursing.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the event itself, the president touted the expansion of TrumpRx with the addition of 600 generic drugs made possible through partnerships with GoodRX, Amazon Pharmacy, and Cost Plus Drugs, directing users to those sites for lower-cost pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n

When asked about working with Cuban, whose company tacks a 15% markup onto the base cost with an additional $5 fee and $5 shipping charge, given his endorsement of then-Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election, Trump responded, \u201cWell, he made a mistake. It was a big mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt says we love people, we love our country. He\u2019s got a good company, and he\u2019s going to do a lot of business with us\u2026 he said this is something that really works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cuban similarly tried to keep partisanship out of the conversation as he was asked repeatedly about his leanings outside the White House.<\/p>\n

When specifically asked about his support for Harris, he remarked, \u201cI\u2019m not going into my politics at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former regular on ABC\u2019s \u201cShark Tank\u201d also dismissed any notion that he was considering his own future White House bid, expressing, \u201cHell no. It\u2019s too hot here.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about the president\u2019s remark, Cuban expressed, \u201cHe was playing.\u201d<\/p>\n

To that point, during the event, the president said of the relationship with Cuban where it concerns the mission, \u201cWe have the same thing \u2014 one thing \u2014 in common. We want to make people better and keep them healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDemocrats want cheaper medications, too. When all is said and done, the goal is the goal. How do we make medications and healthcare cheaper? That\u2019s all I care about,\u201d argued Cuban while social media takes flooded in.<\/p>\n

Cuban @mcuban<\/a> is just grifting his way into circles and rooms he has always wanted to be in but was never invited to until now. He\u2019s no different than any of the other oligarchs. Everything is about him making money, not helping people.<\/p>\n

This is who Democratic Party elites pushed out there on the campaign trail to grab the mythical middle. Cuban said he \u201csupported\u201d Kamala Harris, but pushed for Lina Khan to no longer lead the FTC. He was never about the working class, and he seems fine working with fascism.<\/p>\n
