{"id":598830,"date":"2026-05-09T15:11:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T15:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/buglecall.org\/?p=598830"},"modified":"2026-05-09T15:11:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T15:11:25","slug":"doj-targets-citizenship-of-12-naturalized-americans-for-concealing-their-criminal-history-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buglecall.org\/?p=598830","title":{"rendered":"DOJ targets citizenship of 12 \u2018naturalized\u2019 Americans for concealing their criminal history"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/americanwirenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/sg-denaturalization-target-1200x630.jpg\" class=\"attachment-facebook size-facebook wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<p>The Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Friday that it\u2019s begun the process of denaturalizing 12 citizens who obtained citizenship by concealing their crimes.<\/p>\n<p>According to a DOJ press release, the 12 hid crimes such as \u201cproviding material support to a terrorist group, committing war crimes, and sexually abusing a minor.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">TODAY: Justice Department filed denaturalization actions in various U.S. district courts against 12 individuals accused of serious offenses including:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/72x72\/274c.png\" alt=\"\u274c\" class=\"wp-smiley\" \/>Providing material support to a terrorist group<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/72x72\/274c.png\" alt=\"\u274c\" class=\"wp-smiley\" \/>Committing war crimes<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/72x72\/274c.png\" alt=\"\u274c\" class=\"wp-smiley\" \/>Sexually abusing a minor<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Trump administration\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/XsDjJGjzvt\">pic.twitter.com\/XsDjJGjzvt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 U.S. Department of Justice (@TheJusticeDept) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheJusticeDept\/status\/2052826007195771266?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 8, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIndividuals implicated in committing fraud, heinous crimes such as sexual abuse, or expressing support for terrorism should never have been naturalized as United States citizens,\u201d acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Trump administration is taking action to correct these egregious violations of our immigration system. Those who intentionally concealed their criminal histories or misrepresented themselves during the naturalization process will face the fullest extent of the law,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate added that the DOJ intends to continue \u201cto file denaturalization actions at record speeds to restore integrity in our naturalization process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe disturbing criminal histories confirm these individuals should have never received the privilege of U.S. citizenship,\u201d Shumate continued. \u201cWe remain committed to leveraging every tool available under the law to pursue those who obtain their U.S. citizenship unlawfully.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among those chosen for denaturalization was Ali Yousif Ahmed Al-Nouri, a 48-year-old former Iraqi who gained entry into the U.S.in 2009 by claiming that his family had been attacked by al-Qaeda.<\/p>\n<p>However, ten years later, in 2019, the Iraqi government requested his extradition to face charges pertaining to the 2006 murder of two Iraqi police officers and claimed that he was, in fact, a former al-Qaeda leader.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">MSM BLACKOUT: JIHAD TERROR ALERT<\/p>\n<p>Former Al-Qaeda Terrorist, Ali Yousif Ahmed Al-Nouri, was arrested in Arizona for Murders of Iraqi Police<\/p>\n<p>Al-Nouri came to the US as an Iraqi refugee in 2008<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, GOP TRAITOR, Doug Ducey, just announced Arizona Will Accept MORE \u2018Refugees\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hXZ8tDhrfb\">pic.twitter.com\/hXZ8tDhrfb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Amy Mek (@AmyMek) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AmyMek\/status\/1224618840933318658?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 4, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The next target for denaturalization, 75-year-old Oscar Alberto Pelaez, is a former Colombian Roman Catholic priest who sexually abused a child from 1998 to 2000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2002, Mr. Pelaez pleaded guilty to and was convicted of thirteen counts of sexual assault against a child, including two counts of oral copulation with a person under eighteen years of age, and two counts of sodomy of a person under eighteen years of age,\u201d the DOJ notes.<\/p>\n<p>Yet when he applied for citizenship, Pelaez mentioned none of this.<\/p>\n<p>Another target, 48-year-old Khalid Ouazzani, became a U.S. citizen in 2005 after being born in Morocco. But like the others, he too lied when he applied for citizenship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[A]s early as 2003, Khalid was planning\u2014with two men later convicted of trying to bomb the New York Stock exchange\u2014ways to support Al\u2011Qaida,\u201d the DOJ notes.<\/p>\n<p>His terrorist ways continued even after he became a citizen, with Ouazzani sending al-Qaeda tens of thousands in financial support in 2007. The following year, he swore an allegiance to al-Qaeda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe denaturalization complaint filed against Ouazzani alleges that he gave false testimony during his naturalization proceedings about his attachment to the Constitution and because his affiliation and membership with Al-Qaida within five years of his naturalization constitutes prima facie evidence that when he naturalized, he lacked the requisite attachment to the Constitution,\u201d the DOJ notes.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/72x72\/1f6a8.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udea8\" class=\"wp-smiley\" \/> JUST IN: The Trump Justice Department is OFFICIALLY moving to denaturalize SWATHS of *US citizens* who either committed fraud, are tied to terrorism or committed other crimes \u2014 CBS<\/p>\n<p>LFG!
