The American e-commerce giant must stop allowing any customer ratings and reviews in China.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"Text__text___3eVx1j Text__dark-grey___AS2I_p Text__regular___Bh17t- Text__large___1i0u1F Body__base___25kqPt Body__large_body___3g04wK ArticleBody__element___3UrnEs\"><em>A negative review of Xi\u2019s book prompted the demand, one of the people said. \u201cI think the issue was anything under five stars,\u201d the highest rating in Amazon\u2019s five-point system, said the other person.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So, to appease the CCP tyrants, Amazon apparently disabled its rating system in China, preventing customers on Amazon.cn from commenting or posting reviews of the collection of speeches and writings.<\/p>\n<p>And this isn\u2019t a one-off decision to temporarily appease the CCP. As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/china\/amazon-partnered-with-china-propaganda-arm-win-beijings-favor-document-shows-2021-12-17\/\">Reuters reports,<\/a> Amazon has recognized since 2018 that censorship is a crucial part of the Chinese system, which brooks no dissent:<\/p>\n<p class=\"Text__text___3eVx1j Text__dark-grey___AS2I_p Text__regular___Bh17t- Text__large___1i0u1F Body__base___25kqPt Body__large_body___3g04wK ArticleBody__element___3UrnEs\"><em>An internal 2018 Amazon briefing document that describes the company\u2019s China business lays out a number of \u201cCore Issues\u201d the Seattle-based giant has faced in the country. Among them: \u201cIdeological control and propaganda is the core of the toolkit for the communist party to achieve and maintain its success,\u201d the document notes. \u201cWe are not making judgement on whether it is right or wrong.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>[\u2026]In a core element of this strategy, the internal document and interviews show, Amazon partnered with an arm of China\u2019s propaganda apparatus to create a selling\u00a0<a class=\"Text__text___3eVx1j Text__dark-grey___AS2I_p Text__medium___1ocDap Text__large___1i0u1F Link__underline_default___MkI7S8\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/chinabookscibtc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">portal<\/a>\u00a0on the company\u2019s U.S. site, Amazon.com\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The 90,000 books and writings sold by the propaganda arm, called \u201cChina Books,\u201d include writings defending the situation in Xinjiang, promoting China\u2019s successes in dealing with Covid-19, and extolling the \u201cstrengths\u201d of the CCP and communist system.<\/p>\n<p>That means that Amazon isn\u2019t just censoring reviews of Xi\u2019s book to appease Red China, it\u2019s also actively working with Red Chinese propagandists to promote commie propaganda in the US.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon, in its defense of pushing communist propaganda, said that it \u201c<em>complies with all applicable laws and regulations, wherever we operate, and China is no exception<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many Americans would likely prefer that a US company not \u201ccomply\u201d with the demands of communist propagandists, especially given that China is <a href=\"https:\/\/trendingpolitics.com\/red-alert-red-china-vows-to-strike-back-against-us-sanctions\/\">threatening to kill US troops<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Still, Amazon, likely blinded by potential profits in the Middle Kingdom, has decided to side with the Reds over America.<\/p>\n<p><span>By: Gen Z Conservative, editor of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/genzconservative.com\/\"><span>GenZConservative.com<\/span><\/a><span>.
