It’s not clear why Faruqui didn’t seem to know this.

But judging by Faruqui’s long history of “woke” madness as documented by Fox News, it doesn’t seem he knows much at all.

DEI Fanatic

For starters, the judge is a fan of diversity, equity, and inclusion, a backwards, racist philosophy that calls for rectifying historical injustices and discrimination against the minority population by applying modern injustice and discrimination against the majority population.

“Judge Faruqui’s record demonstrates a deep commitment to pro bono representation, public interest law, fairness, and diversity—as well as keen analytical skills and sound judicial decision-making,” the Washington Council of Lawyers wrote three years ago in support of Faruqui’s campaign to be a D.C. district judge.

The letter added that he’d “devoted much of his career to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.”

Anti-ICE Resistance

Faruqui is, not surprisingly, an avid member of the anti-Trump “resistance.”

After Venezuelan illegal alien Enrique Carias Torres was arrested by masked immigration agents last year, Faruqui made a big deal out of it.

“I’d say we live in a surreal world right now,” he said in court. “This is not consistent with what I understand the United States of America to be.
