Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, seems to be trying to outdo herself in the unbelievable commentary department.<\/p>\n

And \u201cunbelievable\u201d might be an understatement, as she has claimed that MAGA supporters who voted for President Donald Trump are asking her how they can become Democratic Socialists. Because apparently disagreeing with the president on something results in a fundamental change of core economic and political beliefs, in whatever world she\u2019s living in.<\/p>\n

And I know that sounds crazy to some people, but just hear me out,\u201d she said. \u201cI can\u2019t tell you- it just happened to me like two weeks ago- I can\u2019t tell you how many times someone pulled me aside and said either \u2018I was once a big Trump voter and a Trump supporter and I watched Fox News every day but then I started to kind of expand my world and where I got information and now I\u2019ve learned and now I\u2019ve changed and I\u2019m with you, and I learn from you\u2019 or people who meet me who are really big Republicans now and they are shocked when they meet me because they\u2019re like \u2018You are nothing like I was told you are.\u2019 And you start to see the cogs turning, that maybe everything that they had been told from this one channel or this one ecosystem isn\u2019t the whole truth and it is enough to spark a curiosity that makes people want to go down a longer journey of learning.\u201d<\/p>\n
