That\u2019s a lot of crazy people saying a lot of horrific things. I want to play Tucker Carlson, your former colleague at Fox, last month talking about the president.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Tapper plays Jeanine Pirro a clip of Tucker Carlson recently suggesting Trump is the antichrist, and asks her if she thinks that language is as incendiary as James Comey\u2019s seashells <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/XCJ05ktCYe\">pic.twitter.com\/XCJ05ktCYe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/atrupar\/status\/2050955045324149187?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 3, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He then played the clip of Carlson saying, \u201cHere\u2019s a leader who\u2019s mocking the gods of his ancestors, mocking the god of gods, and exalting himself above them. Could this be the Antichrist?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat seems incendiary, too, no?\u201d Tapper questioned Pirro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, whatever Tucker Carlson says is not relevant to me right now,\u201d the former judge and prosecutor replied. \u201cI really don\u2019t care about what he says. All I care about are the facts, the evidence, and what I can prove. All of this other stuff is noise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we\u2019ve got is a president of the United States,\u00a0 he is literally being targeted. He is being hunted,\u201d Pirro continued. \u201cAnd our job and the job of everyone in law enforcement is to protect that president. I don\u2019t care what people on the outside say. I disagree with them entirely, but what we cannot do, Jake, we cannot blame the victim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh, I\u2019m not blaming the victim,\u201d Tapper interjected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight, and I don\u2019t want other people to blame the victim either,\u201d Pirro noted.<\/p>\n<p>But Tapper did not let it drop, attempting to bring up Carlson\u2019s comments again in light of former FBI Director James Comey\u2019s seashell post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnother former colleague of yours, Jonah Goldberg, says that to him \u2014 and I\u2019m paraphrasing here \u2014 what Tucker said about the Antichrist is more incendiary than what James Comey posted on Instagram,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd while not defending what James Comey did post on Instagram, do you see Jonah\u2019s point?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, I\u2019m really not here as a political pundit anymore,\u201d Pirro responded, refusing to take the bait again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m here as a prosecutor. My job is to decide whether or not I have evidence and whether I\u2019ve got 30 years in this, as a prosecutor, a DA, a judge, and now the United States attorney.
