President Donald Trump took a swipe at House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as the left rejects calls to tone down the national rhetoric.<\/p>\n

Following the shooting at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner, Republicans and even the White House have urged cooling the political temperature, namely by calling on Democrats to stop referring to Trump in inflammatory terms. Of course, this was met with resistance and deflection as the left immediately pointed fingers at Trump, who has been the target of three assassination attempts, to victim-blame him for the attempts on his own life.<\/p>\n

Well, the president isn\u2019t backing down, and he proved it in a Truth Social post on Friday night.<\/p>\n

It would appear the feeling is mutual, after Jeffries doubled down on the \u201cmaximum warfare everywhere all the time\u201d comments, which he says are in regard to redistricting efforts.<\/p>\n
