Two-time Trump administration official Ben Carson is out with an op-ed demonstrating how the SPLC unfairly targeted him.<\/p>\n

Carson, who served first as the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development and serves now as the National Advisor for Nutrition, Health, and Housing, wrote the op-ed for Fox News.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2014, the SPLC added me to their list of dangerous extremists, for the \u2018hate crime\u2019 of being a Black, Christian conservative,\u201d the op-ed begins<\/a>. \u201cThey called me a bigot, knowing that it was false and knowing that it would put my family and me in danger.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey knew that because two years prior, a gay-rights activist opened fire at the conservative Family Research Council after the SPLC falsely branded them a hate group. But the SPLC didn\u2019t care. Because \u2014 as we see now \u2014 spreading hate was the SPLC\u2019s core business all along,\u201d the op-ed continues.<\/p>\n

\n

They are manufacturing hate. But truth will always find its way into the light. We are not each other\u2019s enemies.<\/p>\n

Indeed, as Carson notes in his op-ed, the Southern Poverty Law Center was just recently indicted for basically manufacturing racism.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the indictment, the organization doled out more than $3 million to real hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazi Party,\u201d Carson explains. \u201cThey allegedly bankrolled the \u2018imperial wizard\u2019 of the United Klans of America and one of the organizers of the deadly 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMost Americans would call a supposed civil rights organization secretly financing White supremacist violence disgusting. To the SPLC, it was an investment. The following year, their revenues almost tripled from $51 million to more than $130 million,\u201d he continues.<\/p>\n

Carson argues that the indictment proves that SPLC is \u201ca bigotry profiteer\u201d whose staffers earn a living off the fake, manufactured narrative of widespread, rampant racism in America.<\/p>\n

The reality, according to Carson, is that America is the opposite of what the SPLC tried to portray it as.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite the SPLC\u2019s Cash for Klansmen program, the United States is the least racist country in the world,\u201d he explains in his op-ed. \u201cIn the 21st century, we are mostly living Martin Luther King\u2019s dream of a colorblind society. That\u2019s a tremendous achievement for a nation that had so far to come on that score in the last century.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, there is so little bigotry in America today that the SPLC reportedly had to fabricate it. To hate-hustling grifters like the SPLC, moral progress poses an existential threat. If they ever admitted the truth, they would lose their money and their power. So, they perpetuate their lucrative lie,\u201d he continues.<\/p>\n

Carson notes that it\u2019s a scam just like every other scam the left has pushed, from the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory to the COVID-19 wet market conspiracy theory.<\/p>\n

From the first week of the pandemic in January of 2020, to the end of the pandemic in 2023, Fauci consistently pushed the wet market theory and shot down the lab leak theory.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey knew President Joe Biden was mentally impaired when they swore up and down he was sharper than ever,\u201d Carson writes, offering another example of a prominent scam.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey knew Obamacare would kick people off their health insurance when they promised, \u2018if you like your plan, you can keep your plan.\u2019 They know unborn babies aren\u2019t \u2018clumps of cells.\u2019 And they know today that \u2018trans women\u2019 aren\u2019t women,\u201d he continues.<\/p>\n

The question is \u2014 why do they tell these lies? According to Carson, it\u2019s \u201cbecause they care more about power than they care about the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey can\u2019t beat conservatives in honest, good faith debate. So, they resort to weaponized rhetoric that demonizes dissent,\u201d he explains. \u201cThey kept it up even after Trump survived multiple assassination attempts. And even after TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
