Following the hit documentary \u201cMelania,\u201d Amazon Studios is reportedly discussing a reboot of the super-successful reality show \u201cThe Apprentice\u201d featuring Donald Trump Jr. as host.<\/p>\n

The Trump family hasn\u2019t been contacted about the idea, but an Amazon spokesperson signaled to the Wall Street Journal that rumors might be true.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince our acquisition of MGM, we have had preliminary internal discussions about what\u2019s next for \u2018The Apprentice\u2019 as a property,\u201d a spokesperson for Amazon told the Journal.<\/p>\n

Amazon released episodes of NBC\u2019s original \u201cThe Apprentice\u201d on Prime in March 2025 following President Trump\u2019s historic second-term presidential win.<\/p>\n

The streaming service has been making efforts to reach a broader audience with Christian-based series like \u201cHouse of David,\u201d and an \u201cApprentice\u201d reboot would appear to be in line with Amazon\u2019s current trajectory.<\/p>\n

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos still sits as its executive chairman and famously extended an olive branch to Trump before the 2024 presidential election.<\/p>\n

After acquiring the Washington Post, Bezos pulled its endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for president.<\/p>\n

Amazon followed up with a $1 million contribution to Trump\u2019s inauguration in 2025, where Bezos was spotted in attendance.<\/p>\n
